Furnace replacement cost calculator
National range: $4,050–$5,300 (typical $4,450) for an 80,000 BTU/h, 95% AFUE gas furnace. Prices as of 2026-08, wages May 2025.
Estimate the installed cost of a new gas furnace by size and efficiency at your ZIP code, and check a quote.
Before you decide
- A 95% AFUE furnace costs more but burns less gas; an 80% unit may need no new venting.
- Size should come from a load calculation (Manual J), not the old unit's label.
